Scout Wobbleboarding

We offer an exciting programme of Scouting activities for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years old.

Young people can join the adventure in one of our five sections:

We currently have around 140 young members from Stanstead Abbotts, Stanstead St. Margaret's, Great Amwell, Hoddesdon, Hertford Heath, Roydon and Ware.

With over 30 enthusiastic adult volunteers, we are an active and successful Scout Group always looking for new members, both young people and adults.

Beavers, Puddles & Easter Eggs

holding handsFun, Friends and lots of great Puddles at the Beavers' Easter Egg Hunt.

There were a total of 160 girls and boys from Beaver Colonies from all around Ware and District at this year's fantastic Easter Egg Hunt. With 17 Beavers from our Woodland Colony and 20 from Forest, our girls and boys had a great time at the huge "Egg-stravaganza" and jumping in a lot of puddles!

Beavers volunteer at Meadow Tree Planting day

Scouts Rocket Launch Day

Rocket Launching 2 1024x1024Last weekend was the finale of the Scouts' Astronautical Badge activities when they launched the rockets they'd built over the last few weeks.

We had a huge turnout of Scouts and their families and we were amazed when most of the rockets disappeared into the clouds at an incredible speed - some never to be seen again!

Chief Scout's Silver Awards Celebration @ Ware Priory

Scouts: March March adventure on Dartmoor

the top 1023x1365Scout Troop Leader Neil tells us about this years fantastic March March adventure; when 11 Scouts, 4 Explorers and 4 adult volunteers travelled down to Dartmoor to join our Devon Scouting friends for the hugely popular hiking and camping "March March" weekend. A huge challenge and adventure for everyone while catching up with old friends and making lots of new ones.

Scouts visit Harlow Islamic Centre
