We have a growing collection of Lost Property at HQ - please check the coat hooks for any coats, jumpers and shirts you or your child may be missing! A kind neighbour has also picked up a very precious Phasels Wood woggle from Roydon Road this week.  So please pop into HQ and pick up any of Lost Property that belongs to you or your child.  Please ensure that all your children's uniforms and coats etc are 'named' so that we can try to hand them back as and when we find them.

Remembrance Sunday Parade
Monday, 10 November 2014 18:15

Stanstead Abbott Scout lays a wreath at St Andrews Church Remebrance Sunday. 1024x678Thank you to everyone who attended and helped with arranging another record turnout of 119 well-behaved Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for the Remembrance Sunday Service at St Andrew’s Church. With a strong turnout from all our adult volunteers, Young Leaders and also some of the team from Ware & District Scouts there were lots of positive very comments from the Vicar and congregation and the church was packed.

Group Scout Leader Paul Stretch commented that it was “an especially a nice touch that the trumpeter playing the Last Post and the Rouse was one of our Scouts. This must have been a very daunting task for a fourteen year old but Louis did an excellent job.”

Stanstead Abbotts Cubs and Beavers laying their Weaths 1024x678Thank you to everyone who came along and attended this year’s Remembrance Service and Parade.

There are a selection of photos from the service now in the Remembrance Sunday Gallery folder.
