We offer an exciting programme of Scouting activities for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years old.

Young people can join the adventure in one of our five sections:

We currently have around 150 young members from Stanstead Abbotts, Stanstead St. Margaret's, Great Amwell, Hoddesdon, Hertford Heath, Roydon and Ware.

With over 30 enthusiastic adult volunteers, we are an active and successful Scout Group always looking for new members, both young people and adults.

Scouts' woodland Survival & Navigation camp

shelterThe Scout Troop headed into the woods for a Survival and Navigation Camp over the Bank Holiday Weekend - building shelters, foraging for food, building fires, navigating around the local area and generally having a great adventure.

Panther Pack Cub's Zoo & St George's Weekend

Photo47 copyOur Panther Pack girls and boys have had a fantastic weekend celebrating St George's Day.

First there was the great trip to Colchester Zoo where they met all sorts of animals (any Dragons?) and then back to HQ for a fun filled St George (and the Dragon) themed sleepover before heading off by train to Ware to join the rest of the Scout Group for the huge Ware & District Scouts and Guides and discover they'd helped us win the Peter Geer Trophy for participation. Paul Stretch campingJonathan Trower, the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire presented our Group Scout Leader Paul Stretch with a High Sheriff’s "Personal Award" at the recent High Sheriff's Awards Ceremony to recognise what he said is "the outstanding contribution which Scouting makes to Hertfordshire" and to celebrate Paul and the "great team" of volunteers at his local Scout Group.
