We offer an exciting programme of Scouting activities for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years old.
Our Scout Group is organised in five sections:
We currently have around 110 young members from Stanstead Abbotts, Stanstead St. Margaret's, Great Amwell, Hoddesdon, Roydon, Ware and the surrounding areas.
Staffed by over 25 enthusiastic and committed adult volunteers, we are an active and successful Group always looking for new members, both young people and adults.

Assistant District Commissioner Pat Horridge presented Grace Etherington with the Chief Scout's Gold Award during the Ware & Districts annual Lightweight Camping Competition last weekend. Congratulations Grace!

Well done to the 13 Scouts who took part in the Lightweight Camping Competition this weekend. Out of 17 teams our 'Tiger' team came 2nd place closely followed by 'Owl' in 3rd place and our Assisted team 'Wolf' came in 6th. A fantastic achievement! Lots of photos now in the Gallery. |

15 Scouts spent the Bank Holiday weekend camping in 3 Patrols at Tolmers along with hundreds of other Scouts at this year's Patrol Activity Weekend. With the Patrol Leaders (PLs) taking the lead, Scout Troop Leader Neil, picks up the story. |

Did you know that Beavers in Hong Kong are called 'Grasshoppers' or 'Kea Scouts' in New Zealand? Last night the 'Beavers' from our Woodland Beaver Colony spent an evening working on their Global Challenge Badge, and funnily enough, ate some tasty food along the way!

Parents' Open Evening and AGM, HQ at 7.30pm. - Please come and join with all the other parents, families, helpers and Leaders to hear about and celebrate the past 12 months of some fantastic Beaver, Cub and Scout challenges, adventures, achievements and fun - and a bit of a BBQ too!

Scouts, Explorers, Parents, Leaders and the Treasurer and her dog spent last Friday night working in the graveyard of St James' Church, Stansteadbury clearing graves and tidying til dusk, when they hiked back to HQ. (Photos in the Gallery)

A fantastic turnout for today's parade through Ware and ceremony at the Priory - thank you to everyone who braved the showers. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all looked really smart.
