Beavers meet Guide Dog Roxy |

Woodland Beaver Scout Colony had a real treat in that they had two visitors: a lovely lady from Hertford Heath and her Guide Dog Roxy. Roxy's owner explained to the Beavers about how losing your sight can change your life. However with help from Roxy, her black Labrador, and a whole range of aids, such as a talking microwave oven, newspapers on tape, talking books provided by the library service, harnesses and whistles, this lady has remained independent. |
