1st Stanstead Abbotts and St. Margaret's Scout Group

The Forest Beaver Colony’s family 5th Nov Bonfire Party proved a hugely popular event with almost every Beaver bringing their family along. Over 100 people enjoyed burgers, hotdogs, campfire songs and sparklers around the fire as each Beaver invited their family and made a Guy to join in the fun.  The huge bonfire and tents helped fend off the occasional raindrops! The winning Guy was made by Connor and his family, with Jack C and his family as runners up.

The Jaguar Pack built three guys - one per six, and entered their 'creations' in the St Margaretsbury Guy Competition at the annual Fireworks display -success as we did the double. The Green Six came first, and two of our Scouts (Nathan and Lenny) came second.  The Guys were then promptly thrown on to the bonfire.
