Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from around the Ware and District area joined together at Tolmers Scout Camp & Activity Centre to celebrate this year's Founder's Day.

There were a huge variety of activities put on at the activity centre to both challenge and entertain all the age groups.  Everyone came well prepared for the weather and mud and enjoyed lots of activities throughout the day.

Some of our Panther Pack Cubs and Woodland and Forest Colony Beavers tried out some new activities for the first time, such as abseiling, archery, air rifle shooting, having pillow fights on the slippery pole, trumpet playing and different crafts and much more.  The Beavers really enjoyed their first abseil with one summing the experience up saying 'although it was scary - it was great fun!'

There are some photos of some of the fun the Woodland and Forest Colony Beavers and their Leaders had and a 'little' of the mud in the Gallery! - check out the Founder's Day Photos.
