If you saw groups of Cubs in florescent high vis jackets searching for clues around the village on a Tuesday evening in June, then you were watching the Panther Pack Cubs practicing their Orienteering skills.
With a set of clues, a map and a compass in hand, the Panther Pack Cubs set off around the village in groups of 3 or 4 moving from one clue to the next. The task involved answering questions which gave them direct clues of where to go next or 6 digit map co-ordinates!
The last clue gave them the co-ordinates for the Fish and Chip Shop where each team was rewarded with a bag of prawn crackers. |
