1st Stanstead Abbotts and St. Margaret's Scout Group

The 1st Stanstead Abbotts & St. Margaret's Scout Group has won the Peter Geer Trophy for the third time in six years.

The Peter Geer competition recognises the Scout Group in Ware & District whose Beavers, Cubs and Scouts participate the most in District events (relative to the size of their Scout Group).

Every time a Beaver, Cub or Scout attends one of the key District events, they earn their Scout Group points towards this trophy. As participating in a wide range of activities through an active programme is a cornerstone of Scouting's progressive training scheme, it's a great reflection on the Group to win this trophy so often.

If we want to win this trophy again next year, then we all need to make sure that as many Beavers, Cubs and Scouts participate in as many events as possible over the next twelve months.
