We offer an exciting programme of Scouting activities for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years old.

Young people can join the adventure in one of our five sections:

We currently have around 150 young members from Stanstead Abbotts, Stanstead St. Margaret's, Great Amwell, Hoddesdon, Hertford Heath, Roydon and Ware.

With over 30 enthusiastic adult volunteers, we are an active and successful Scout Group always looking for new members, both young people and adults.

Remote Control Car Racing for our Beavers and Scouts

17388840 1528778113849636 1325499433863317023 oThe Scout Troop took over the controls of these remote control cars from the girls and boys in our Forest Beaver Colony during several nights of remote control car racing down at the Parish Hall.

During their sessions, the Beavers enjoyed racing the cars first on their own and then in teams.

After the Beavers had left for the evening the Scout arrived to take their turn on the huge race track, showing some great teamwork and sign that this may not have been the totally new experience for everyone.

IMG 2167IMG 2172Our Woodland and Forest Beavers had a great time at the huge Ware and District Beaver Scouts' Easter Egg Hunt joining boys and girls from Scout Groups all around the area for a fun filled day out in the local countryside.

St George's Day Parade, Sunday 23rd April

Join us to watch ALL our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts parade through Ware with their Leaders and Young Leaders at the 1,000 strong parade through Ware on Sunday 23rd April for this year's St George's Day Parade - the patron saint of Scouting - ready to renew their Promises at The Priory - and then to hear which Scout Group has won this year's District Peter Geer Trophy - for participation!.

Please note that the different Sections will have different start times on Sunday and different drop off locations and these will be published on your My.Scout account or provided by your child's Leader Team in the next couple of weeks.

Full and smart uniforms and shoes, please.

There will be Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network Scouts from Scout Groups around Ware and the District, all parading with their Leaders down Ware High Street accompanied by the Braughing Scout Brass Band and watched by a host of VIPs, usually including the Mayor of Ware - a huge spectacle and not to be missed! Bring your camera.

The Parade itself normally starts at 3.45 / 4pm with Ware High Street closing to traffic shortly before hand.
