Beavers District Easter Egg Hunt
Posted on 7 April 2018
Girls and boys from both our Woodland and Forest Beaver Colonies joined up with Beavers from all around the District for this year’s huge Ware and District Beaver Easter Egg Hunt.
Starting from 2nd Ware Scout Group’s HQ the Beavers set out into the local countryside, walking along with their friends and making new ones along the way.
Eventually they arrived at the site for the Easter Egg Hunt where they all set off in search for all the hidden eggs. As well as the Easter Egg Hunt there were games and a bonfire and a chance to sit and enjoy some snacks and drinks.
During the afternoon Pat Horridge, District Commissioner for Ware and District Scouts presented Sid Francis one of our Forest Beavers with his Chief Scout’s Bronze Award in front of the assembled crowd. The Chief Scout’s Bronze Award is the highest award a boy or girl can achieve during their time as a Beaver and are much to be celebrated.
After a fun filled afternoon, everyone walked back to Ware.
