Halloween fun for Panther Pack at HQ and Thriftwood
Posted on 28 October 2018
The girls and boys in our Panther Cub Pack had the opportunity to enjoy lots of Halloween fun and games firstly down at HQ, on one of their usual Tuesday night, and then with a trip to Thriftwood Scout Camp Site to join Cubs and Brownies from around the region for their annual ‘Spooky Funday’.
The fun and games at HQ saw everyone, Cubs, Young Leaders and adults, in some really creative and fun fancy dress costumes, masks and face paint and make up. They then spent the evening enjoying some traditional Halloween games such as apple bobbing, finding the sweet in a bowl of flour, the ‘Yes / No’ game with a bar of chocolate and of course, pumpkins.
The following Saturday, the fun continued at Thriftwood’s Spooky Funday, where they joined hundreds of other Cubs and Brownies to take part in lots of outdoor activities around the woods: from archery and an assault course to climbing, crate-stacking, the Cresta Run and much more, as well as the inevitable face painting and final campfire get together at the end. A great day out for everyone in woods and a great way to start half term.
